Carols in the Courtyard

Just before Christmas, some of our choir members visited Morriston Hospital to spread some Christmas cheer with some socially-distanced carol singing!

The event was organised through some of our members who work at the hospital and it was a lovely opportunity to bring some festive music to the staff and patients there. It was the second time we’ve been able to visit at Christmas, and as well as enjoying the opportunity to sing some Christmas carols together, we hope it brought some cheer to everyone who was there.

The biggest challenge was, of course, keeping our members COVID-secure to make the visit a success and we’re particularly grateful to our committee members who worked so hard to keep us safe. Luckily, Morriston Hospital has a number of courtyards that are surrounded by wards and day units so we were able to sing together safely to as many people as possible - despite the Swansea drizzle! This photo is from our favourite courtyard that had been decorated so beautifully for Christmas.

We hope everyone enjoyed our visit as much as we did and we hope to see you again next Christmas!
