Introducing Alex

This term, Swansea Bach Choir has had the pleasure of having the company of Alex Jenkins as our accompanist during rehearsals. Alex is a graduate of Nottingham University and the Royal College of Music, and has worked widely as an accompanist for choirs and vocalists across the UK.

During his career, he has performed at a number of prestigious and interesting venues, including Wigmore Hall and the V&A museum. He now works as a professional accompanist and vocal coach at the Royal Welsh College of Music, working predominantly with the Vocal, Choral Conducting and Opera departments. We are delighted to have his company at our rehearsals this Autumn and hope he has enjoyed the experience as much as we have so far.

Alex will be performing with us at our forthcoming concert on Sunday 16 October at All Saints Church in Oystermouth. We will be singing a number of pieces accompanied by piano and hope that you enjoy it as much as we do!
