Swansea Bach Choir are delighted to announce a brand new supporters scheme. The new scheme offers a number of different ways for our friends and benefactors to show support for the work that we do and ensure that we can

continue to bring you some of the greatest choral and sacred music from throughout the ages.

Swansea Bach Choir has always relied upon the kind generosity of our supporters to help us put on the wide range of concerts that we are able to do. The digital age has the potential to make that easier and we have redesigned our supporters’ scheme to reflect that.

Of course, the biggest support you can give us is to buy tickets for our concerts, and bring your friends with you so that they can enjoy the music that we make. If you would like to stay in touch with us, you can sign up to our Friends scheme where we will add you to our mailing list and sparingly keep you up to date with all of our concerts and events. Making music for an appreciative audience, and reaching people who may never have experienced the joy of choral music, is the very reason we exist as a choir and we love seeing familiar faces come back to hear us sing time and time again. If you would like to hear from us directly, you can sign up to be a Friend and be the first in the know!

If you sign up to be a Supporter, you will be entitled to advance notice (and first choice of tickets!) for our concerts, workshops, and Come and Sing events. You will also be invited to two open rehearsals every year, where you will get to see what goes on behind the scenes when we are preparing for a concert, and a hard copy of our annual newsletter that we will send to you in September every year. Supporters pay £75 per year if they sign up as a couple, or £50 for individual membership of the scheme. As a public token of our gratitude, we will also record your support in our concert programmes, unless you ask us not to.

Another option available is to sign up to sponsor one of our concerts. As a choir, we love inviting soloists and instrumentalists to join us in some of our favourite venues in the Swansea area. Our Sponsorship scheme gives you the opportunity to make a one-off donation towards these costs. Your contribution will be acknowledged publicly, as an expression of our warmest and most heartfelt thanks.

Coming back together as a choir after taking a break in the pandemic has been both rewarding and challenging in so many different ways. Signing up to one of these support schemes is your way of making sure that we can continue to bring you our favourite choral music right here in the heart of Swansea!
